Be sure to view this site at 1024x768 resolution or the nav bar to the left will not be totally viewable. This site is for those fans of the Marvel Super Heroes role playing game, from the late 80's, who were not satisfied with how the original rules worked, who thought the saga rules were too much like Magic, or those who are not happy with the high cost of the recent Marvel Products. The Unofficial Marvel Superheroes RPG project is a new, more playable version of the late 80's RPG. I've created a new rule system to go with the information provided in the few good game books provided by TSR, like the Ultimate Powers Book. To make the transition from the old Marvel RPG to my RPG easier I concentrated on modifying the character creation and combat sections, trying to leave the powers sections as close as possible to the original Ultimate Powers Book. New hero stats have been created, a little more variety with the dice, and the easier feat rolls with out that nice chart on the back of the original game books. No more trying to figure out what a yellow feat roll is. Feats are rolled as power or ability checks. Similar to the new D20 system. The buttons to the left will take you to each of the new Game Books, all posted online in the Adobe PDF format. This is a work in progress and I will hopefully, with a little help, have a fully play testable version soon. After the project is complete and if people are happy with the play testing we would like to move into 2 other RPG's that were never made, the Unofficial GIJoe RPG and the Unofficial Transformers RPG. If you would like to be a part of either project please see our HELP page. Be sure to check the "Whats new" section below for updates. Please keep in mind that everything except the game mechanics is property of Marvel and its various artist and is used here for a personal project and not for any financial gain, nor is it to be sold or taken and posted on another site. Thanks Whats new: Site Update - 7-4-2002 -After Taking a year off I finally found the time to get back here again. We are still looking for play testers and contributors to the project. I'm also looking to move on to the G.I. Joe project. With the recent comic books popularity it seemed like a good time to get moving, so if you want in see our HELP page. We would also like to that the people over at Pacific View Designs for the great site design and for hosting us in the early days of the site. If you are interested in having a web site designed for you by them click here.
